Print Power 2022 in Sweden was a dynamic competition showcasing the best illustration of the year in print innovation and creativity. It brought together graphic designer students from different universities to push the boundaries of traditional print media.
This year's brief revolved around the theme of ''Energy'' and limited us to using and just three colors and no text on the design. I opted for black, yellow, and turquoise green. Since white wasn't considered one of the restricted colors, I seized the opportunity to use it as a fourth color. Afterwards, I printed the design as a poster using CMYK colors.
"Life giving Balance" illustrates the symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature, portraying a meditating figure surrounded by a vibrant green aura of life-giving energy. Symbolic elements such as the sun, moon, and yin-yang convey harmony and vitality, emphasizing the interconnectedness of all living things and the importance of balance in sustaining human life.
