Epiroc, born from Atlas Copco in 2018, leads the global market in mining and construction equipment. Their innovative offerings, including drill rigs and automation solutions, prioritize productivity, safety, and sustainability. Based in Stockholm, Epiroc serves customers in 150+ countries with comprehensive support services.
My job was to create a whole new idea for Epiroc's identity. I came up with a concept called "Spinnovation." It mixes "spin" and "innovation" to show non-stop innovation. The logo I designed looks like a drill but also like the letter "E," linking strongly to the concept.
These colors were chosen for Epiroc's new identity to convey a specific message. Coral represents energy and innovation, Onyx signifies strength and reliability, while Mist brings clarity and balance. Together, they reflect Epiroc's commitment to innovation, reliability, and clarity in their products and services.
